Kahn, 75, for many years sports editor of the New York Sun, died at Bellevue Hospital yesterday of cancer. During a career that span ned more than 50 years, Kahn work ed for eight newspapers and one magazine and covered baseball, basketball, football, boxing and horse racing.
His last job was on the National Desk of The Daily News, from Besides The News and the Sun, he worked for the Graphic, Herald Tribune. Journal-American, World-Telegram, World Journal Tribune, Brooklyn Eagle and Collier's Magazine. As a sportswriter for The News and other New York papers beginning in 1925. he covered the Yankees during their powerhouse years. Yankee slugger Babe Ruth gave him the bat with which he slammed his record 60th home run in 1927.

OBITUARY NAT BRANDWYNNE Las Vegas. Nev. (AP)-Nat Brandwynne, 67, conductor of the Caesars Palace showroom orchestra for the last 12 years, died yesterday of a heart attack. A native of New York, Brandwynne started his musical career at age 16 when he became part of a piano duo with the late Eddy Duchin. Brandwynne then led his own orchestra at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York for 25 years He also conducted orchestras at the Copacabana in New York, the Palmel House in Chicago and the Coconut Grove in Los Angeles.
