So far, I've had an amazing experience at Monty tech! I am currently a cheerleader, apart of SkillsUSA, I lead Bible club, I participate in the yearly musical and drama club, in addition, I also volunteer with other events such as our Open House, VIP programs and the greenhouse. I've had an amazing experience with all these events. All the coaches are phenomenal and always want the best for the teams. All the Admin at the school listen to suggestions and complaints students have an take action. There is very little misconduct at Monty Tech, and when there is, it is taken care of quickly and appropriately. The teachers are really understanding, and genuinely want the best for students, and work hard to create a safe environment for students.

My 4-year experience at Monty Tech is what prepared me to become the person I am today. Going to a Vocational Technical high school allowed me to gain both book smarts and real-world experience. After spending 3 years in an automotive technology shop I was able to work part time while still attending my classes every other week. This taught me time management skills, how to present myself while representing an organization in a professional setting and most importantly how to handle "real life". Most high schools prepare their students explicitly for higher education, and without the experience in a work setting I would not have had the confidence and understanding I need to work full time - while in school - to be able to afford my college education. In the future I do think having more opportunities for students to participate in music and arts would greatly benefit the classes.

Montachusett Regional Vocational Technical School is a very good academic school, they focus the most on your week of academics and have a big variety of class options you can take, most of the class work is very useful in preparing you for your tests and exams as you come closer to entering college, if you are not the best in a subject that is also okay because they offer lower and higher level classes, most of the teachers are not the best people, however you get the material that you need to know. The sports teams are not very good because they are focased on academics, during half of the school year you will be in a trade program and I think that is the best reason to go. You spend half of your high school training in a specific job and get accredited in things for no money at all. The administration however do not care much about what goes on in their school. There are kids vaping, and doing drugs, however the guidance counselors are helpful and so is the school resource officer.
