They wanted to know what happened to the original Ink Spots, and if there really is an authentic original Ink Spots group anymore.

THE INK SPOT who did the talking part on the old records was Orville Hoppe, now deceased. Bill Kenny, leader of the group, sang the high notes.
The other two were Charlie Fugua and Billy Bowe. At last report, Fugua was retired from show biz and living in Los Angeles, Bowe has his own instrumental quartet called the Butterball Four and Kenny lives in Vancouver and works mostly in television.
